INTRODUCTION
WELCOME TO THE FIX STEPS TO CREATIVE VISUALISATION WORKSHOP!
I’ve been so excited to share a practice with you all that I personally do daily, and that I’ve noticed some of the largest positive shifts in my life come as a result. Creative Visualisation is a technique that has been around for a very long time and can be a very intuitive process — but can also feel daunting to know how to go about it in the most effective way. In this workshop I will guide you through my FIVE key steps to creative visualisation that have aided me in my manifestation practices, personal sense of self confidence and my general mood + outlook in life.
This workshop will take you approximately 45minutes — 1 hour, so be sure to find a comfortable space where you will be uninterrupted so that you may fully absorb the teachings to come.
WHAT IS CREATIVE VISUALISATION?
Creative visualisation is a technique that involves using your imagination to create positive and realistic scenarios in your mind. It can help you improve your skills, overcome challenges, achieve goals, and boost your confidence. Creative visualization is based on the principle that your mind and body are connected, and that what you imagine can influence your reality.
The mind-body connection is the link between what we are thinking and what physically happens as a result in the body. When we think anxious thoughts, our body has a physical response — we activate our fight or flight nervous system response, as we would if we were in the wild and there was a real physical threat. Although our anxious thoughts are usually imagined scenarios, the body does not know the difference between a real threat, and feeling anxious about an upcoming project or social event.
Just as the mind can cue the body to physically respond to stress — it can calm our nervous system and boost serotonin through a simple meditation practice.
Creative Visualisation is about physically and emotionally training our body for a desired experience. What happens when we visually rehearse a situation that we’d like to happen — is that we prepare ourselves mentally and energetically for that reality to occur.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN ENERGETICALLY?
Each of us embody a certain energy moment to moment. When we loop on negative self talk and beliefs, we lower our energy. In this state — we are aligned with people, experiences and situations that validate this state of being. It’s something felt and experienced but very difficult to explain. Think of someone you know that is desperate for a relationship, isn’t it strange how they almost repel potential partners away? It’s almost as though you can feel what it is they want so badly around them.
Creative visualisation gives us the tools to rehearse the fulfilment of what we want, so that we attune ourselves with an energy of recieving rather than wanting.
In this shift — we align ourselves with what we want most. Because it is no longer something we are so desperately craving.
