KNOWING OUR CUES (week 2)

Sometimes the things that are blocking us from embodying our magnetic selves are the cues in our environment. Whether those be positive or negative, they lead us to feeling more or less capable of showing up authentically. The aim of the game is to increase the amount of positive cues, and decrease the amount of negative cues. So how do we go about that? Today, I’d like your focus to be on completing the following exercise:

INCREASING POSITIVE CUES

• Create an album on your phone of photos that feel like your magnetic self. Include photos of yourself during a period of time where you felt particularly confident or radiant. Also add anything that reminds you of any positive experiences of embodying your truest self -- text messages of appreciation from friends, or where you stood up for yourself. Include inspiration pictures of others that embody traits of yourself you are working to own or want to cultivate. This is your visual photo cues -- eye over it throughout the week and remind yourself of your innate magnetism.

• A playlist that reflects your highest self. You can also use this during your walks throughout the workshop. Just a collection of songs that make you feel your best -- capable of taking on the world.

• Adding one thing to your bedroom that feels authentic to you. Perhaps it's adding art, flowers, perhaps just a simple reorganizing of the space to make it feel clearer and cleaner. Something that makes the space feel more reflective of you.

DECREASING NEGATIVE CUES

• Do a full social media cleanse. Unfollow accounts that make you feel ‘less than’ or trigger you. You owe no explanations or apologies. Set a time limit for social media apps that you feel like are draining your free time.

• Go through your wardrobe -- get rid of things you haven't worn in the past year by donating them to charity or selling them online. It feels so good to let go of things that no longer reflect who you are.
